Happy New Year!

OK, so it’s January. But my beloved and I thought it would be fun to make this letter really newsy, and it didn’t seem quite right to talk about the mess at SLU while we were wishing you Merry Christmas.

We’ve been writing this letter for a number of years, sending some by snail mail and more and more by email. But we sometimes miss people, and we don’t want to miss any of you. As we said in a similar post a couple of years back, we believe it’s impossible to have too many friends.

Read about it here and here.

back soon

In the past week I’ve changed ISPs and moved this blog and the website that contains it to a new server. That has necessitated some editing, which I still haven’t entirely finished. However, I’m hoping to finish over the weekend and get back to writing more regularly in time for the election.

checking in

I’m still here, but I’ve been ill for a couple of weeks. Now that I’m on the mend, I’ve been installing a new widget, hoping for to fix a problem with the display. It’s fixed now.
