I took the new photo through a window at the back of the house that looks out over my neighbors&#8217; roofs to the south, making it a photo almost literally out the backroom window.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/37524054@N03\/16176892386\" title=\"_MG_2291.jpg by Julian Long, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8657\/16176892386_ab4987c4a5_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" alt=\"_MG_2291.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m cheating a little, but just a little. The room whose window I used isn&#8217;t technically <em>the<\/em> back room, but it does qualify as <em>a<\/em> back room. I was experimenting with a new 85mm lens that&#8217;s pretty fast and so got the background nicely blurred. The two chimneys are parts of two different houses across a narrow gangway from one another.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been double posting from my blog to Facebook for quite a while now and have decided to stop doing that with this post.
