We&#8217;ve just returned, and I need to decompress before I try to sort out impressions, but here&#8217;s one anecdote.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">As we were leaving the infamous <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.auschwitz.org.pl\/new\/index.php?language=EN&#038;tryb=stale&#038;id=368\">building 11<\/a> at Auschwitz, a gentleman who spoke American loudly accosted several of us who were standing together with this message:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">You know what this is, don&#8217;t you? This is the liberals trying to rewrite history!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">Meanwhile, I&#8217;ve just discovered that my blog, about which hardly anybody knows, is rated R, not quite so good a rating as <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/anglicanresistance.blogspot.com\/2007\/06\/x-rated-indeed.html\">Fr. Bill Carrol&#8217;s NC-17<\/a>. From now on I intend to pursue an unequivocal X rating with all the energy I can muster, and when I achieve it, I&#8217;ll certainly post the glad tidings. My present rating was earned by use of the words <i>gay<\/i> (5x), <i>hell<\/i> (2x), and <i>hurt<\/i> (1x).
